Big things are happenin’ … babes, barbeque, beer and the Big I at the “Last Rib Standing Coors Light Big I Invitational” on Friday July 31st.
This is a Bring Your Own Grill Event in which all that have entered will be competing against other master grillers for the grand prize 8 burner event grill.
Categories, we’re Keepin’ it simple: just Chicken and ribs!
Grilling Rules: Entry is 6 pieces of chicken & 6 pieces pork ribs. NO PRE-SEASONING, NO PRE-COOKING, NO PRE-BAKING. Bring your own grill.... set up as early as noon and start cooking as early as you get set up. Bring a small fire extinguisher to have at the ready should your stuff get too HOT ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! zowie........
You will be given a presentation box for judging. One piece of GREEN leaf lettuce or GREEN Parlsey is allowed. NO other items are allowed for garnish.
Judging is by the X- Rock designated Alaska BBQ Association judges.
The Alaska Barbeque Association will be vending food - barbeque no less!- and the Big I has the Coors Light! Bring your friends to help you win the 8 burner gas grill.... on display at the Big I!
